Festghana Waterproofing Solution Company Limited (trading as Fest Ghana Limited) is a Ghanaian-owned waterproofing specialist serving residential, commercial, and industrial clients across Ghana with a 3-year workmanship warranty on every job.

Who We Are

Fest Ghana Limited is the trading name of Festghana Waterproofing Solution Company Limited, a Ghanaian-owned waterproofing specialist founded in 2020. We serve homeowners, facility managers, contractors, architects, quantity surveyors, real estate developers, and government agencies across every district of Ghana — from Accra and Tema to Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast, Sunyani, Tamale, and Ho.

Our name reflects our promise: waterproofing solutions that work for Ghana’s specific climate — intense UV, coastal salt exposure, extreme thermal cycling, wind-driven rain, high humidity, and periodic Harmattan dryness. Not generic imported specifications applied without local context. Systems selected for Ghana, installed by Ghanaian crew, backed by Ghanaian warranty.

What We Do

We install and supply professional waterproofing systems including:

  • Roof waterproofing — two-coat polyurethane liquid membrane on concrete flat roofs, fleece-reinforced systems on high-movement zones, and seam-lap treatment on IBR metal roofs
  • Parapet wall waterproofing — fleece-reinforced polyurethane membrane systems with 25-year design life
  • Metal box gutter rehabilitation — full-length fleece-reinforced polyurethane on rusted or split-seam IBR gutters
  • Concrete gutter waterproofing — two-coat polyurethane membrane with detailed joint work
  • Foundation waterproofing — positive-side membrane systems for new builds, cementitious crystalline retrofits for existing foundations
  • Basement waterproofing — below-grade systems for wine cellars, home gyms, storage rooms, and mechanical spaces
  • Bathroom waterproofing — pre-tile polyurethane membrane with butyl-tape detailing at drains, corners, and penetrations

We also retail our own range of waterproofing products for DIY use and contractor supply — including our 10kg polyurethane waterproof coating, 5kg transparent polyurethane sealant, butyl rubber leakage tape, and waterproof leakage spray.

Our Systems

We install three primary waterproofing chemistries, matched to the substrate and use case:

Polyurethane Liquid Membrane

Our primary system for roofs, gutters, water tanks, and bathrooms. Applied as a liquid coating that cures into a seamless flexible film bonded to the substrate. Fleece-Reinforced Polyurethane Membrane

For high-movement zones — parapets, metal box gutters, expansion joints, and any area with cracks up to 3 mm. Polyester geotextile fleece is embedded between two polyurethane coats to form a composite membrane that bridges gaps a plain coating cannot. 25-year design life. Cementitious Crystalline Waterproofing

For below-grade structures — foundations, basements, water tanks, and machine pits. Active silicate crystals penetrate into the concrete matrix and react with free lime to form crystalline growth that permanently blocks capillaries. The waterproofing becomes part of the concrete. Warranty and Methodology

Every installation carries a 3-year workmanship warranty plus a 25-year design life certification on our reinforced membrane systems. Warranty documentation is issued in the client's name at handover — not a verbal promise.

Our standard project methodology:

  1. Free site inspection — we come to you, walk the site, photograph problem areas, measure quantities
  2. Written quotation delivered by email within 24 hours — fixed price, no escalation
  3. Method statement for larger jobs — detailed work sequence and safety plan
  4. Site preparation — substrate cleaning, crack treatment, rust treatment as applicable
  5. Primer coat — acrylic-modified primer per manufacturer specification
  6. Membrane installation — two-coat polyurethane or fleece-reinforced system depending on the specification
  7. Water test on completion — controlled water application, witnessed by the client, before acceptance
  8. Written handover pack — warranty certificate, materials batch codes, photographs, maintenance recommendations
