How Much Will You Need? The Figure Most Buyers Get Wrong
Coverage is quoted per coat. Waterproofing needs two. Every coating sold in Ghana — ours included — advertises how far a bucket goes on one coat. A real job is two coats. Halve the label figure before you order.

Porosity moves the number. A rough, unsealed screed drinks considerably more than smooth power-floated concrete, so add a margin on old or absorbent substrates. Warranty vs Design Life
Two numbers, often used as if they were one. The warranty is the period we come back and fix failures at our cost — 3 years on workmanship, 3 years on materials. The design life is how long the membrane is engineered to keep performing when correctly installed and maintained — 20 years.
If another Ghanaian supplier or contractor advertises a "20-year warranty" or "25-year warranty" on polyurethane, they are quoting design life. Ask for the warranty period in writing on the quotation before you compare prices.
